Steyning-based Sussex Coaches has taken delivery of a K 360 IB with 80-seat Irizar I-Skool bodywork, supplied by Scania Great Britain (01909 500822). It is the operator’s first new vehicle for several years.

The 13.6m tri-axle has a 9.3-litre DC09 engine delivering 360bhp coupled to Scania’s automated Opticruise gearbox. It comes with climate control, a Bosch entertainment system and pavement lights. A reversing camera is also fitted.

Sussex Coaches will benefit from the inclusive repair and maintenance programme offered to all Scania retail coach customers.

A further part of the package is a 10-year subscription to Scania Onboard, which is the manufacturer’s telematics system that records driver and vehicle performance. Reports are sent directly to the operator via email.
