Redcar and Cleveland College has teamed up with Arriva to offer a brand new travel pass, new for September.
It will allow its full-time students aged 16-18 to travel for free across Teesside.
The free pass covers: Redcar, East Cleveland, Stockton and Middlesbrough, while a separate pass will be available to students from further afield, including Whitby and Darlington.
Arriva’s Area MD, Nick Knox, says: “Students will be able to travel at times convenient to their course requirements. We firmly believe that this will be a great attraction, and look forward to welcoming the students on board our services.”
