Sinéad Kilkelly

The position of Chief People Officer is a newly established and ‘critical role’ to implement the operators ongoing transformation plan.

She will be responsible for managing the company’s resourcing strategy and to ensure the capabilities, culture and engagement of staff are matched to the needs of the business for the future.

Stephen Kent, A/CEO, says: “Our people are fundamental to the long-term success of Bus Éireann and we are delighted that Sinéad will now join the new management team, bringing extensive experience of significant reorganisation.

“Her experience and insight at this time will be invaluable, as we commit to maintain the positive momentum of staff engagement and development into the future. This appointment is another important step we are taking within the business to return it to long-term sustainable growth.”

“These appointments re-affirm our commitment to staff engagement, and to undertaking new initiatives to ensure employees are well equipped to meet the challenges and opportunities of a rapidly evolving transport sector.”
