Ceramex has named Anthony Greatwood as Director of Sales and Marketing. It comes as the diesel particulate filter (DPF) cleaning and remanufacturing specialist looks to achieve what it says is “major growth” in 2024.
Mr Greatwood will take responsibility for driving sales and marketing activity in the UK and overseas. Ceramex says that demand for remanufactured DPFs continues to increase from multiple sources for on-road use, while the supplier is expanding its reach into non-road sectors.
He joins Ceramex from sister business Eminox. There he held the position of Global Product Manager within Eminox’s OEM portfolio as the culmination of a 28-year career with that business.
Ceramex processes over 2,000 DPFs per week from a 67,000 square foot facility and says that it delivers “a rapid turnaround, contract-based service.” Such an approach gives economies of scale as well as a planned approach to DPF cleaning, ensuring that vehicles remain compliant with emissions requirements and run efficiently, it continues.
Speaking about his appointment, Mr Greatwood says: “This is an exciting time to be joining Ceramex, with demand for remanufactured DPFs continuing an upward trajectory. We are also seeing new markets emerge as emissions legislation tightens in all sectors.
“With market leading and patented DPF cleaning and inspection technology, Ceramex is focused on adding value for customers across all segments and ensuring environmental performance.”
Ceramex Managing Director Barney Miles has welcomed Mr Greatwood to the business. “With almost three decades of industry expertise, Anthony’s insight and knowledge within this specialised field is second to none,” he observes.
“As we continue to expand our DPF remanufacturing offering into new markets and develop out international operations, he will play a pivotal role in establishing new partnerships and increasing our brand presence.”
