TV presenter Ferne McCann, has joined forces with Stagecoach to promote the extensive career options available for females within the bus industry.

Ferne, who last year gained her bus driving qualification after training with Stagecoach, is turning to the company’s female staff for support as she, along with 100 employees, embark on an 8-week home-based programme aimed to help the Stagecoach staff improve their physical and emotional health.

The #DrivingFitnessTogether campaign was launched in December and if successful, Stagecoach plans to open it up to all its UK bus staff.

The participants will celebrate their results on International Women’s Day in March.
