Liz Davies, who has been appointed Marketing Assistant at Reading Buses, is set to travel regularly by bus for the first time.

Bus journeys will be a new experience for Liz, who previously lived and worked in the centre of Winchester.

The 25-year-old is now living in the Wokingham Road area of Reading and looking forward to a challenging new role ‘on the buses.’

“It will be something really different – I wanted to continue working with the public and public transport is for everybody.

“For the first time I have become a bus user and enjoying the experience.”

From the outset, Liz has experienced how multi-faceted the role will be.

She has been actively involved with Reading Buses’ operation for Reading Festival and more recently helped out with the company’s activity at the University of Reading where she welcomed new students to the town.
