Irizar (UK) Ltd’s Business Development Director Julie Hartley has been given additional responsibilities as Head of Coach Sales, as demand for the Spanish manufacturer’s integral product range continues to grow.
She will be responsible for developing sales of new and used coaches across the UK, after record sales and turnover were achieved last year, says Irizar (UK), “thanks in part to the launch of the fabulous i6S integral.” alt=”” src=”https://www.route-one.net/wp-content/uploads/Julie_Hartley.octet-stream” style=”float:right” />
The next few months will see further development of the Irizar Integral coach range, with the introduction of the advanced ZF TraXon automated transmission together with the further refinements to the DAF MX-11 and MX-13 engine families.
Julie has 20 years’ experience in the coach and bus industry, and joined Irizar (UK) four years ago.
Irizar (UK) Director Steve O’Neill says: “Julie joined us four years ago at when we were still an early stage of Irizar UK’s development.
“She has been instrumental in driving the growing sales of our coaches and the development of our brand. Her commitment and passion for Irizar and the coach industry has made her the ideal person to drive our coach sales operation into the next phase as Irizar expands its UK presence.”
Julie says: “I am delighted to be taking on this new challenge at what is a very exciting time in the development of Irizar UK.
“We had a very successful 2017, which we are on track to replicate this year. There are product enhancements soon to be introduced to market across the whole range, and a growing team that will increase market share, while continuing to offer our very high service levels.
“I am very much looking forward to working at a strategic level with my colleagues in the UK and Spain to further enhance our product offering for the future.”
