Matt Hobbs (pictured) has been promoted to Director of Group Commercial at The Coach Travel Group.
The appointment comes one year after he joined the organisation in February 2025 as Group Commercial Manager.
The Group says Matt will lead its commercial agenda in his new role, driving revenue, developing partnerships, and supporting “strategic initiatives that underpin long-term success”.
It adds that the appointment follows Matt’s impressive individual contribution in shaping commercial strategy through his previous role, alongside a broader commitment to developing talent from within.
“Fifteen years ago, I joined the industry as a complete newcomer and never expected I’d become as passionate about it as I am today,” Matt says. “Since joining The Coach Travel Group, it quickly became clear I had joined a progressive, ambitious business with real opportunity.
“The pace, the culture and the collective drive to grow together have been energising. Over the last year I’ve been fortunate to work with peers and leaders who have opened so many doors, helping me expand my experience far beyond what I’d imagined.”
