NatEx driver recognised for ‘heroic effort’

In recognition of his heroic efforts – saving the life of a 17-month-old girl who had stopped breathing – Walsall bus driver Steven Welsh has won a special Chief Executive Award.

NatEx Group Chief Executive Dean Finch, says: “We are all extremely proud of Steven for saving Evie-Mai’s life.

“It’s not easy to remain calm in such a distressing situation but he didn’t hesitate to help and he did the right thing.

“I was delighted to be able to present my Chief Executive Award to recognise his heroic efforts.”
