New head of ops at FTS

First Travel Solutions (FTS)has welcome a new member to the Senior Leadership Team.

Rob Hughes has joined as Head of Operations as FTS look to strengthen, develop and grow its operational and service delivery experience.

Delivering a better experience for the client and the end user is key to Rob’s role and he has had first-hand experience in Games Transport service delivery, working with Transport for London to strategically co-ordinate vehicles during the Olympic Games.

Rob previously worked at FTS’ parent company First Bus where he joined as Graduate Trainee in 2011, he went on to become a Senior Manager and was awarded ‘Young Manager of the Year’ and CILT recognition. 

Rob holds a Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence and is keen to deliver a high quality, efficient and compliant service.

Andrew Scholey, MD, says: “We have made some internal structure changes at FTS to bring a stronger, B2B focused team together to ensure that we can deliver better experiences. Rob will be intrinsic to ensuring our on-the-ground operations are achieving that goal.’’
