Gainsborough-based emissions specialists, Eminox has appointed Steve Whelan, as its new Technical Director.
With nearly 30 years of experience within the industry, Steve will support Eminox in the search and evaluation of new technologies for other exciting industrial sectors.
In his new role, Steve will be responsible for four teams: design, product development, retrofit product development and advanced technology and innovation.
As well as managing existing development programmes, Steve will be instrumental in delivering innovative new technology solutions in reducing emissions on heavy duty powertrain platforms.
Steve says: “I am looking forward to reinforcing engineering processes in the short term to support our programmes, developing a progressive technology road map that will drive our activities in the medium term, and creating a portfolio of research projects that will deliver new products into the long term.”
