James Colbourne has been appointed as Regional Executive Director, Scotland, for Scania (Great Britain) Limited with immediate effect.

James joined Scania in 2016 as Regional Sales Director for Scania Scotland and has rapidly established himself with customers and staff as a key member of the Scania team north of the border.

James is based at Scania Bellshill and has more than 12 years’ experience in the automotive industry.

Prior to Scania, he worked for Mercedes-Benz UK's Commercial Vehicles operation, where he held a variety of sales and aftersales positions. Before that he worked for SsangYong, Vauxhall Leasing and MG-Rover Group in roles spanning sales, business management and network development.

"Scania has always been a strong player in Scotland, and in his new role James is now at the helm of a consistently high performing team," says Claes Jacobsson, Scania (Great Britain) Limited Managing Director.

"As such, I wish him and his colleagues every success for the future as they continue developing, refining and improving the service we provide to transport operators throughout Scotland."
