Stagecoach Merseyside, Cheshire and South Lancashire (MCSL) has welcomed a new network manager.
David Rich joins the team having completed a two-year graduate trainee scheme with the operator.
His new role is based at Stagecoach’s Gillmoss depot in Liverpool where he is responsible for ensuring that the network continues to provide relevant and fit-for-purpose services for its passengers.
The 23-year-old is the first person to hold this position in the region as it is a newly created post.
Rob Jones, Managing Director at Stagecoach MCSL, says: “It is fantastic when our graduate trainees go on to secure great new opportunities within the business.
“David has proven himself to be a very competent and professional individual throughout his first two years with Stagecoach and I am delighted to welcome him to Merseyside as a permanent member of staff.
“He will play an active role in driving future growth and ensuring our network remains sustainable as we continue to provide reliable and affordable bus services to our passengers across the region.”
