Nikki Honer, Go South Coast’s Head of Marketing, has received a prestigious Venus Lifetime Achievement Award in honour of her 30-year bus industry career.
Founded in 2009, the Venus Awards aim to applaud and reward women who may not otherwise be recognised for their commitment and dedication, both at work and home.
“To have a job working with people who are passionate about what they do and to be able to make a difference to the organisation I work in drives me in my career,” says Nikki.
She is delighted with her award that comes in a year that also saw Go South Coast named Bus Operator of the Year in the National Transport Awards and the Route One Awards.
“Nikki is a trailblazer and a role model to any woman considering a career within the transport industry,” says Andrew Wickham, Go South Coast’s Managing Director.
