ACT, a Fujitsu company, has launched account based ticketing (ABT) for ITSO cards. It says the concept is an easy way to leverage existing investments in ITSO technology.
Says Head of ACT Mark Fagan: “ABT for ITSO increased the convenience of ITSO smartcards by providing a pay as you go model of ticketing.
“Passengers can use their ITSO card to travel first and pay later, with capping applied to offer the best fare. They get the benefits of joined-up travel, but with the flexibility of capping.”
