Baumot UK has partnered with Leyland-based MI Vehicle Integration (MIVI) to provide a Euro 6 retrofit service to operators in the north west of England.
MIVI will support Baumot by fitting its BNOx system, which reduces emissions significantly. It combines SCR and DPF technology to upgrade older buses as far back as Euro 3, achieving emission levels in excess of Euro 6.
Says Baumot UK MD Bert Pierlings: “We are proud to have partnered with MIVI and to have gained access to a highly-skilled workforce that is used to working on buses, and which is experienced in all associated vehicle systems including exhausts and electronics.
“MIVI’s high-quality build and service standards were a key consideration in our decision. We are confident that all upgrades will be managed and undertaken to our standards following extensive training.”
