Continental air springs deliver greater comfort

Continental lightweight air springs reduce the unladen weight of two-axle buses by up to 15kg. They are now being fitted as standard to all its urban models by EvoBus.

They utilise integrated plastic construction. The OEM also says that they deliver a better ride for passengers via a maximum utilisation of the inner air volume.

“Plastic offers much greater freedom and the capacity for customised, comfort-oriented design,” says Diethelm Bauch. Mr Bauch heads Air Spring Systems in Continental’s Commercial Vehicles OE segment.
