HJS Emission Technology provides a valuable contribution to air quality improvement in towns and cities across the UK using retrofit SCRT Exhaust Technology. It works with bus operators, fleet managers and vehicle owners who select the HJS SCRT system to reduce emissions and provide access to Clean Air Zones (CAZs). The SCRT system provides a low-cost alternative to replacing vehicles with years of service remaining.

The HJS SCRT system can be retrofitted to a range of vehicle applications enabling operators to retrofit older vehicles to meet Euro VI standards. Compliant vehicles can travel freely within CAZs and Low Emission Zones as well as the Ultra-Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) in place in Central London. Non-compliant vehicles may be required to pay daily charges to access these zones.

HJS SCRT Technology meets the standards required to comply with the Energy Savings Trust’s Clean Vehicle Retrofit Accreditation Scheme (CVRAS) and is an approved supplier for Transport for London’s ULEZ.
