HJS Emission Technology is contributing to air-quality improvement across the UK through its retrofit SCRT Exhaust Technology.

Bus operators, fleet managers and vehicle owners are selecting the HJS SCRT system to reduce emissions and access the ULEZ and Clean Air Zones.

The SCRT system provides a low-cost alternative to replacing vehicles with many years of service remaining. It can be retrofitted to a range of vehicle applications and enables operators to achieve Euro 6 standards.

The SCRT system consists of a Diesel Particulate Filter in combination with an SCR system for the reduction of NOx. HJS has developed bespoke applications for a range of the most common-service vehicles in the UK, which now includes a range for Euro 5 minibuses.

Fleet operators are able to track live vehicle data via the HJS Remote Emission Monitoring (REM) system. HJS SCRT technology meets the standards required to comply with the Energy Savings Trust’s Clean Vehicle Retrofit Accreditation Scheme and are an approved supplier for Transport for London’s ULEZ.
