MAN Truck and Bus UK has opened a new, state of the art dealership on Team Valley Trading Estate in Gateshead. It will support the manufacturer’s coach and bus range, including Neoplan products.

The purpose-built premises are part of a £20m investment across MAN’s UK dealer network. They sit on a 3.3-acre site.

“As our business footprint has grown considerably across the Tyne Valley and the surrounding areas, so has our requirement for larger premises,” says MAN Truck and Bus UK MD Thomas Hemmerich.

“This considerable investment in a new purpose-built facility clearly demonstrates our long-term commitment to both the North East and our strong customer base in the area.”

The Team Valley site has 12 workshop bays and an ATF lane. Parts worth £350,000 are kept in stock. The dealership is open around the clock Monday to Friday with “extensive” weekend coverage. Gateshead is also an MAN eMobility workshop.
