Whitstable-based Regent Coaches has selected four Stertil Koni electro-hydraulic mobile column lifts, type ST1075FSA, to replace an existing set of lifts as part of a workshop upgrade.
The family-run firm’s commercial and general-purpose workshops maintain, service and repair its modern fleet of 35 vehicles, including executive coaches, buses and minibuses. Regent Coaches also maintains vehicles on behalf of other operators and undertakes work for the general public.
“Our workshop manager had previous experience of Stertil Koni lifts and he recommended them highly as replacements for our old lifts,” says Sam Regent, Director at Regent Coaches.
Each of the Stertil Koni ST1075FSA columns provides a 7.5-tonne lifting capacity with 30 tonnes combined capacity when used as a set of four, and a maximum lifting height of 1.85 metres.
Stertil Koni’s ebright Smart Control System is incorporated into each column. This enables workshop staff to operate the columns individually, in pairs or any other configuration from any column in the set through touch screen consoles.
The columns feature Stertil Koni’s maintenance-free, self-lubricating synthetic runner wheel system.
Other features include an independent mechanical locking system in each column.
