Yestech VoIP phone supplier targets coach and bus sector

Voice over IP business phone supplier Yestech has launched a specialist division to serve the coach and bus sector.

Yestech says that its ‘plug and play’ approach allows installation to be undertaken quickly, and that its hosted phone system provides premium features on a cost-effective basis.

The product is provided on rolling 30-day contract terms and it comes with 24/7 live support. Customers can increase or decrease active phone extensions as demand for staff or from users fluctuates. That flexibility to reduce costs means that none of Yestech’s users have been faced with fulfilling COVID-19-related payment holidays since the pandemic began.

The supplier says businesses that have already switched their telecoms to Yestech have seen on average a 60% saving with a straightforward ‘cost per user’ pricing model. Yestech is established in the taxi and private hire market, where it has over 1,000 UK customers. It also has relationships with all of the main booking and dispatch systems providers.

To help its move into the coach and bus sector, Yestech appointed Ian Gillis as Business Development Manager in 2020. He previously worked in the industry trade press for more than a decade and he brings an understanding of what operators expect from suppliers, Yestech says.

Yestech’s system also suits home working and it provides integration with Microsoft Teams. A partnership with Yealink allows the provision of wi-fi enabled handsets, eliminating the need for cabling and extensions. Yestech can also be accessed via a mobile phone app or a PC softphone setup.
