Zeelo, the smart bus-sharing company that provides safe transportation services for commuting and school runs, has today announced the launch of its technology platform for operators, Zeeride.
Zeeride is an independent platform that allows coach and bus operators of any size – large or small – to digitalise their fixed-route and shuttle services. Operators that join the platform can offer pre-booking (via individual tickets and subscriptions), vehicle tracking and service reporting features without the hassle or cost of building and maintaining the technology themselves.
Zeeride is being released to coach and bus operators to manage their own contracts or on a per-seat basis directly with passengers. It allows coach operators to add the above features, and more, very quickly and easily to school routes, commuting services and events trips.
Luke Ryan, Zeelo Head of Growth, says Zeeride is the next natural step alongside the business’ journey with operators. “Zeelo’s success is down to two things. One, our world class technology and customer service, and two, the relationships that we have with our operator partners. Zeeride brings those two things together.
“We are excited for what the future holds. During August we are entering into our beta phase, where we will release spaces for a small group of operators to take part. Operators can sign up to gain early access to Zeeride, receiving the first month completely free and taking advantage of our introductory monthly subscription rate for the first three months.”
Zeelo is encouraging operators of all sizes to get in touch to take part in the beta phase, and also to express their interest in trialling the product.
