The DVLA has changed its mind over the withdrawal of old forms for individual vehicle approval (IVA). The new forms are already available to use [routeONE/4 July/News], but the mandatory use of these forms is now being put back until 1 September.
This is to align with the introduction of the new IVA inspection manuals from this date.
The DVLA will continue to accept the old forms until 31 August, rather than 31 July as it previously said.
It will not accept applications on the old forms after 1 September, from when all applications must be made on the new forms.
Any applications made using the old forms from this date will be rejected by email and you'll need to make a fresh application on the new form.
