An operating lease option for Neoplan Tourliner coaches has been established by MAN Truck and Bus UK and its sister company MAN Financial Services UK.
The package is available on all four Tourliner models – the two-axle P10 and P21 and the tri-axle P20 and P22. MAN says it is available for periods of three years upwards. At the end of the agreed term the operator can hand the coach back, purchase it outright, or extend the lease.
The monthly charge starts from £2,823 for a standard 49-seat P21 based on 60,000km per annum. Other annual mileage tiers of 80,000km and 100,000 are available.
Included in all new Tourliner deals is Warranty Plus. It gives three years’ comprehensive coverage along with a fourth year for the driveline only. This can be extended into year five at an additional charge.
Additionally, Warranty Plus includes an annual free-of-charge engine service and top end set at an MAN dealership.
MAN can also incorporate repair and maintenance (R&M) into the monthly leasing fee. It offers three levels of R&M – bronze, silver and gold – and all include MoT preparation and test, along with scheduled inspections and maintenance. The gold level includes wear and tear items such as tyres.
Although most Tourliners in the UK are supplied as stock coaches, the operating lease package is available on vehicles that are built to the customer’s order, says General Manager Bus and Coach Wayne Ulph.
“We will look at any operator’s requirements and endeavour to tailor something that will suit them,” he explains.
