Beulas glazed roof available on single-deck range

Beulas showed a panoramic glazed roof option at Busworld that is available on its Aura, Cygnus and Mythos models. The Spanish coachbuilder says that it can be packaged in coaches for the UK market and on various chassis.

The glazing is at the outer shoulders of the roof, with passenger service units relocated to the centre. Luggage racks are removed and two of the glass panels function as emergency exits.

A pair of Auras with the option have been purchased by a Barcelona operator for sightseeing work. The glazing mandates that the air-conditioning unit is mounted within the luggage lockers.

It is also more powerful than the norm; in the two Barcelona coaches, Beulas has installed a system that delivers more cooling capacity than the one fitted to its Jewel double-decker.

The ‘shoulder’ glazed option complements an existing offering of glass centre roof panels from Beulas.
