Paul S Winson Coaches has added an Alexander Dennis Enviro400 double-deck bus to its fleet, the first of that type purchased new by the Loughborough operator.

It has 84 fixed seats with three-point belts and a tip-up position within the wheelchair user bay. Dark tinted windows are fitted along with an air chill system, USB charging points, and wood-effect flooring.

Director Anthony Winson notes how the Guild of British Coach Operators member bought a used Enviro400 in 2022. It proved to be a capable vehicle “that offers us further revenue opportunities on certain private charter work,” he says.

“With this experience in mind, the decision to invest in a brand new Enviro400 was easily made. We are delighted to add this superbly built, high-specification double-decker vehicle into our fleet.”

Alexander Dennis Regional Sales Manager Simon Wood has thanked Paul S Winson Coaches for its purchase of the Enviro400. He notes how the model “offers a unique combination of high capacity in a tried and trusted base vehicle that easily fits into any fleet.”
