Heathside Travel of Dorset has added a first Ilesbus vehicle to its fleet in the form of a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter M1 with an eight-seat luxury minicoach conversion. It has been supplied by Ilesbus UK and Sales Manager Leon Fear.
Each position is finished in leather and with a USB charging point. What is described as a Starhaven ceiling has been specified by the award-winning Ferndown operator, with the vehicle built to its order.
Saloon air-conditioning and an upgraded entertainment system including television and DVD functionality are also included, along with a large boot.
External finish is in Heathside Travel’s metallic deep purple paintwork, and the purple theme continues on the inside and around the chrome grille. A front spoiler and chrome mirror backs along with alloy wheels complete the external appearance.
Power is taken through the nine-speed 9G-Tronic automatic gearbox. The vehicle was handed over to Heathside Travel owners Hannah and Tim Southby by Mr Fear.
