Southgate and Finchley Coaches has taken delivery of two Mercedes-Benz Tourismo fleet additions, supplied by Daimler Buses UK.
Each is a 12.1m example with 53 seats. They are part of a three-phase programme for the London operator that will see it receive six Tourismos from early 2025 and into 2026.
PSVAR compliance has been specified on the two recent deliveries, including destination displays and a passenger lift. The coaches are finished in the trademark Southgate and Finchley yellow livery. Their specification also includes a leather steering wheel, a heated driver’s seat, and a rear-view camera.
Power is from the 7.7-litre OM 936 engine that develops 350bhp coupled to a PowerShift eight-speed automated manual gearbox.
