Encore’s John Wales meets the cast of Dreamgirls

The hit musical Dreamgirls entertained the trade at Encore’s traditional Christmas and New Year party.

Currently playing to standing ovations at the Savoy Theatre, Dreamgirls has extended until early June 2018.

Earlier in the evening Encore CEO John Wales told the party at the Café de Paris that the West End is in a strong position for 2018, helped by the low level of the pound, along with the opening of key new shows.

Encore has already taken £250,000 worth of booking for Tina the Musical, and believes it will be a favourite show for group sales to coach tour operators and group travel organisers in 2018.

Encore has a Sale or Return policy for domestic coach operators, and Loyal Circle points system for group travel organisers.

It has developed new technology in 2017 for online distributor partners.
