The 35-seat Yutong TC9 with Roy McCarthy Coaches is the firm’s second

Roy McCarthy Coaches, based in Macclesfield, has taken delivery of a second Yutong TC9 midi, supplied by Pelican Bus and Coach (01924 227722).

It has a Cummins ISB6.7 engine rated at 320bhp coupled to a ZF EcoLife six-speed automatic gearbox and it is a direct replacement for the first TC9 purchased by the operator. It was painted in China prior to shipping.

Inside are 35 seats along with a variety of comforts including USB and 240v power sockets and a fridge.

“The operator’s customers have become used to all of these fittings, along with all the other standard Yutong extras, which gives them more reasons to place repeat bookings for the TC9,” says Pelican Assistant Sales Manager Simon Collins.
