Villager Bus, based in Stow-on-the-Wold, has taken delivery of a Fiat Ducato with low-floor Orion bodywork, supplied by Mellor Coachcraft (01706 860610).
The entirely configurable passenger area meets the demands of the operator’s network that serves 66 North Cotswolds villages every week, and it has 16 seats along with an Eberspächer climate controls system.
Villager Bus Chairman Keith Gowing says: “Our first Orion was such a quantum leap in capability from our old van conversions that it is difficult to remember now how different it felt.
“We have been operating Orions for five years. Passengers love the spaciousness and the light, airy feel of the interior as well as the low step and flat floor. Driving them is very easy, too.”
