Are you involved in operation of minicoaches or minibuses?

Operators whose fleets include minicoaches and minibuses have a source of news and features to complement routeone in the form of its bi-monthly sister title, miniplus.

As the marketplace’s only standalone title that focuses solely on small PCVs, miniplus can be viewed either in hard copy format or online at www.miniplus.co.uk.

miniplus is tailored to your sector and it brings a wide range of news and features

Printed copies are available to operators on the same basis as routeone. It is free to those who have an O-Licence or Permit, are in the community transport sector, and to local authorities. Registering to receive miniplus is easily done at the website above.

The May issue was published on Monday (16 April). The DfT consultation on the reorganisation of section 19 and section 22 permit use remains a hot topic to community transport organisations (CTOs) and commercial operators alike, and it is covered in depth.

Also examined in detail is ArrivaClick. The multinational has high hopes for its demand responsive minibus offering, and it expects to announce the location of a second operation before the end of this month.

Equally significantly, Arriva has desires to embrace certain aspects of community transport and social transport with ArrivaClick, and it already has tentative plans for the use of alternative fuels and, eventually, automation. All this and more can be read in more detail in miniplus.

Operators of minicoaches are not forgotten. Iveco’s Daily is making waves in the sector, and both the Noone Turas 600s and the UNVI Compa are featured.

Additionally, Iveco’s Blue Power Daily CNG and Daily Electric models, both of which are already available for passenger applications, are driven and described as part of coverage of Iveco’s alternative fuel strategy.

To that is added a visit to Romanian minicoach converter Cento’s new factory, a preview of next week’s CV Show, a look at MAN’s plans for its TGE range in the PCV sector and news that includes a operator’s warning about taking pre-Euro 6 Sprinters into London’s forthcoming ULEZ.
