Local MP and Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Greg Clark, officially opened Arriva’s new depot in Tunbridge Wells, alongside UK Bus MD Kevin O’Connor.
Representatives from local schools and community groups were at the event, Arriva is to hold a free Family Fun Day at the new depot on Sunday 27 May – including a gin bar, sausage and mash, bouncy castle, penalty shootout and gladiator duel.
After Greg Clark MP unveiled the commemorative plaque, guests were given a tour of Arriva’s new state-of-the-art facilities by the engineering apprentices.
