TDX25 Astromega is the first of its kind to join the Tyrers Coaches fleet

Tyrers Coaches, of Adlington, Lancs, has purchased its first Van Hool TDX25 Astromega, supplied by Moseley (PCV) (01977 609000).

It has 81 Kiel 1020 seats with leather trim, 61 of which are on the upper deck. A wheelchair user can be carried, and the coach also has a fresh water toilet, a kitchen area, USB charging points for all passengers, and a Bosch Professional Line entertainment system.

Mobitec destination displays are fitted all round, and the Astromega also comes with a 360-degree rear camera system from ProViu to complement its more conventional CCTV set-up.

A matching ski box has been supplied, while the coach is powered by a DAF MX-13 engine rated at 460bhp coupled to a ZF AS-Tronic gearbox.
