Amport and District Coaches has taken delivery of two more Irizar i6S Efficient integral models, supplied by Irizar UK. Those latest arrivals mean that the Hampshire operator has purchased the i6S Efficient integral in 2023, 2024, and now 2025.
The newcomers are 12.9m two-axle models with 53 seats. Magazine nets, three-point belts, drop-down tables and USB charging points are part of the specification, along with a drinks machine above the centre sunken toilet.
One of the new coaches is PSVAR compliant. That includes a Masats KS7 lift, Tecam quick-release seat legs, and Hanover destination displays.
Both vehicles for Amport and District Coaches have a Bosch Smart Series system and DVD player to provide entertainment, coupled to twin monitors.
Power is from the DAF MX-11 engine developing 408bhp coupled to the ZF EcoLife six-speed automatic gearbox.
