Xelabus has launched three specially liveried Alexander Dennis Enviro400 double-deck buses as part of its expanded collaboration with Sparsholt College Group in Hampshire.

They form part of the transport provision to Sparsholt Campus and University Centre Sparsholt from across the county, a network that covers some significant distances.

Two of the vehicles have a dynamic green design that displays learners interacting with their specialist area and celebrate the breadth of courses offered at Sparsholt Campus. The third – which uses a purple base – highlights University Centre Sparsholt and showcases several of its facilities along with the annual graduation ceremony.

Xelabus will additionally use the vehicles outside education commitments on rail replacement and other scheduled routes to maximise visibility.

Commercial Manager Phil Blair (pictured above, left) notes how the operator is celebrating 15 years in business and has invested in new staff as well as new coaches and buses to support the award of several services to Sparsholt.

Sparsholt College Group liveries applied by Xelabus are highly distinctive and will be seen beyond college services

Previously the operator ran four contracts for the group, but from the start of the current academic year that number increased to 11. “We are delighted with this and it shows that our company is well respected by the college for already providing a high-class and reliable services for students travelling a distance each day,” Mr Blair notes.

“Serving this high-profile college is one of a number we operate services for. Our team provides the highest level of service and we are so pleased to have been entrusted to carry Sparsholt’s students,” he continues.

Sparsholt College Group Principal and CEO Julie Milburn (pictured top, centre) adds: “We are delighted to see these new buses on the road which showcase our specialist courses and world-class facilities.

“Our strong relationship with Xelabus ensures that we can continue to provide reliable and accessible journeys for our students travelling from across Hampshire and beyond.”
