ZF has restructured its commercial vehicle aftermarket provision in the UK and Ireland, with that team now led by David Wakeling (pictured) as Head of CV Aftermarket.

The supplier says that the restructure will deliver better value and efficiency to customers, with a newly unified structure strengthening its position in the commercial vehicle products area. It brings together the business’s full range of parts, technologies and service solutions under one team.

That will encompass all aspects of ZF’s commercial vehicle offering, including the ZF [pro]Service and ZF [pro]Academy support programmes to reinforce a commitment to maximising uptime.

Customers will now benefit from a simplified, more connected experience with seamless access to the complete ZF portfolio through a single point of contact.

Unification of the ZF commercial vehicle aftermarket team marks “a significant step” in the supplier’s “ongoing commitment to innovation, customer focus and operational excellence, ensuring that the needs of fleet and workshop customers remain at the heart of its strategy,” the company says.

Adds ZF Aftermarket UK and Ireland Managing Director Wim Deckx: “The commercial vehicle sector demands speed, reliability and expertise, and our new structure reflects exactly that.

“By uniting our IAM, service parts and fleet operations, we are creating a single, customer-focused team that can deliver the full strength of ZF’s aftermarket capability. This step ensures that our partners receive faster support, clearer communication, and access to the complete ZF portfolio from one dedicated source.”
