Maynes Coaches has declared it has surpassed 100,000 zero-emission miles via its six battery-electric vehicles.
The Buckie-based operator says it reached the landmark three months ahead of schedule after beginning operation of its first four electric coaches in April.
Maynes Coaches’ expanding zero-emission fleet now undertakes daily contracts, cruise ship excursions, private tours and other work.
“Our electric fleet has been warmly welcomed and widely praised by our clients, passengers, and driving team,” says Kevin Mayne, Operations Director.
“These vehicles offer a premium, zero‑emission coach travel experience, and this milestone reflects both the reliability of the technology and our commitment to climate‑friendly transport.”
With a 78-year legacy in the industry, the operator says it will continue to stay up to date with the latest coaches.
“We have been the name to trust in travel since 1947 and this milestone carries that legacy forward,” says Mr Mayne. “We look ahead to the next 100,000 electric miles with excitement, continuing to invest in modern vehicles.”
