Treka’s Brighouse plant will complete eight or nine minibuses per week

Treka Bus has increased the rate of production of accessible minibuses at its Brighouse factory.

Throughput has risen to between eight and nine per week for the coming three months as Treka reacts to strong market demand for coachbuilt and converted products.

It marks a further milestone in Treka’s production totals. In 2013, it was completing three minibuses per week. That rose to five in 2014 and to seven in 2015.

“Never content with the status quo, we have been working through the months of June and July to increase our capacity yet again. In the week ending 27 July, for the first time in our history, we delivered an all-time high of nine new minibuses,” says MD Morgan Clissett.
