The Scania Touring is a high-quality, cost-effective coach , says Dave York

Wolverhampton operator P&D York Travel has added a two-axle K 360 IB with Touring HD bodywork to its fleet, supplied by Scania Great Britain (01909 500822).

The 12.1m coach has 51 seats with three-point belts and leather headrests and piping, a centre sunken toilet, a Frenzl drinks machine, USB charging points, climate control and a DVD player with two monitors.

Says MD Dave York: “We had been looking at the Touring for some time, and after evaluating the package that Scania offered we decided that it was an all-round, value-for-money workhorse.

“It has an exceptional specification and that, together with the two-year repair and maintenance package, makes the coach a very good choice for operators.”
