Heyfordian Travel now has six 74-seat MOBIpeople Explorers in its fleet

Heyfordian Travel has received its fifth and sixth MAN RR8s with MOBIpeople Explorer bodywork, supplied by BASE Coach Sales (01772 425355).

Like the four that were already with the operator, the new coaches are 74-seaters and powered by MAN’s 290bhp engine.

They have been purchased because of strong demand for high-capacity school hires and also thanks to the level of support provided by BASE, says General Manager Stephen Smith.

“We started with two Explorers in May 2017. We were very impressed with the quality and standard of those vehicles, so we ordered two more in the autumn. Demand for the coaches increased significantly and in 2018 we ordered the additional two.

“We look forward to many years of successful usage from them.”
