Hammonds Coaches receives a new VDL FHD2

Hammonds Coaches of Nottingham has taken delivery of a VDL Futura FHD2, supplied by Moseley (PCV) (01977 609000).

It is a 12.2m model with 53 Vogel Conturo seats that have leather headrests, three-point belts, drop-down tables and magazine nets.

A centre sunken toilet is fitted along with wood-effect flooring, a fridge and a drinks machine. A Bosch entertainment system is also part of the specification.

Power is from a DAF MX-11 engine rated at 370bhp coupled to a ZF AS-Tronic gearbox. An Intarder is also fitted. The coach was signwritten prior to entry into service.
