Hearn’s Coaches, based in Harrow, recently added the first i6 integral to its fleet, supplied by Irizar UK (01909 500514).
It is 12.9m long and it has 57 seats. Passenger amenities include drop-down tables, a drinks machine, a centre toilet, and a DVD player and monitors.
“We’ve been running Irizar-bodied coaches since the early 2000s and we think that they are a very well-built, luxury vehicle,” says Director Jamie Thacker.
“We have got used to Irizar quality, and we chose an integral with a DAF MX-11 engine given other operators’ experiences, and the individual approach that Irizar UK has to customer service.
“Particularly impressive is the way that it will send a qualified coach engineer directly if problems are encountered.”
