School-transport provider A&I Coaches of Aberdeenshire has been acquired by investment group TB Corporations after 40 years in business.

The Aberdeenshire-based operator, which also delivers taxi services and vehicle maintenance, says all staff have been retained.

All services will continue as usual from A&I Coaches’ base at Spurryhillock Industrial Estate, Stonehaven, and the trading name will remain, according to the business.

A statement from the operator, which was founded in 1985, reads: “The new ownership aims to build on the company’s strong foundations while exploring opportunities to strengthen services and support sustainable long-term growth.

“This transition ensures that A&I Coaches remains a stable and reliable transport provider for Stonehaven and the surrounding communities for many years to come.”
