London operator Westbus has added two B8Rs with Sunsundegui SC5 bodies to its fleet, supplied by Volvo Bus (02476 210250).
They will be used mainly for inbound travel and touring from Heathrow, and also for private hire work. Their 10.3m length makes them particularly suitable for use in the centre of the capital.
Says General Manager Tim Miles: “We needed to upgrade our fleet and we were in the market for something smaller than a full-sized coach, but still with the feel of a larger vehicle. The B8R SC5 was the perfect fit.
“We were fortunate enough to visit the Sunsundegui factory during the specification of the interior of our new vehicles and I was impressed with how accommodating everyone was.”
