Paramount Conversions’ Iveco Daily-based minicoach can seat up to 22

Paramount Conversions has reaffirmed its relationship with Whitburn, West Lothian-based dealer Coachtraders and displayed its first Iveco Daily minicoach in Dublin.

The Co Offaly-based converter says that the Daily’s attraction is its high GVW, which allows a high specification to be fitted to 22-seat versions that can include double-glazed side windows or a wheelchair lift.

Also displayed was a Volkswagen New Crafter conversion with a sliding side door. At 5,000kg GVW and extra-long wheelbase form a maximum of 22 seats can be accommodated if weight is optimised, the converter says. Paramount is currently examining a plug door fitment.

Additionally, Paramount has already converted its first new-model Mercedes-Benz Sprinters in medium and long wheelbase form. Extra-long wheelbase models will follow in 2019.
