Staff from six Transdev bus companies across the North of England nominated their colleagues to be rewarded for their pride and passion at Transdev’s third annual Amazing Awards.

Over 130 nominees and their partners attended the awards evening, held at the National Science and Media Museum in Bradford last Thursdy (17 January).

There were nine winners: Lifetime Star Award, Alan Hornsby; Driver of the Year Award, James Moodie; Hero of the Year Award, Bill MacDonald; Rising Star Award, Frank Stanisauskis; Eco Champion Award, Robert Harper; Team of the Year Award, Keighley Bus Company’s Schools Team; Engineer of the Year Award, Brian Haworth; Depot of the Year Award, Transdev Blazefield; Special Recognition, Phil Harris.

Alex Hornby, CEO of Transdev in Yorkshire and Lancashire, says: “Whether they drive our customers safely to their destination, make sure every bus is safe and reliable, or provide the best support behind the scenes, our fantastic people are at the very heart of our shared success.”
