The four new VDL Futura FHD2s for Anderson Travel are all 57-seaters

Well-known London operator Anderson Travel has taken delivery of four VDL Futura FHD2 coaches, supplied by Moseley in the South (01823 653000).

All are 12.9m long two-axle models. They each have 57 seats with three-point belts, a centre sunken toilet, a water boiler and a dash-mounted fridge. Alloy wheels complete the specification and the coaches are all finished in Anderson Travel’s livery.

Power comes from the DAF MX-11 engine rated at 370bhp coupled to ZF’s EcoLife automatic gearbox.

The 12.9m variant of the Futura FHD2 complements a number of other variants that extend from 10.6m to 13.5m on two axles, and larger tri-axle and double-decker variants. All are powered by DAF with ZF gearbox options.
