Stagecoach in South Wales has held its local Bus Driver of the Year heats and crowned Aleksai Gladis as the winner.
From the Caerphilly depot, Aleksai wins £250 and will compete in the national final in Blackpool in September.
Nigel Winter, MD of Stagecoach in South Wales, says: “It just proves his skill and overall commitment to his job. Many of our drivers consistently surpass our expectations in their day-to-day duties and it's great that their efforts can be rewarded.”
Gareth Bloom took second place, and Rhian Jones took third.
